Maqoor Village is a month-long community-based initiative that integrates environmental education with hands-on action in one rural Armenian village. Through school outreach, interactive workshops, and village-wide engagement, the project promotes eco-conscious behavior and empowers young people to become leaders in sustainability. Impact and Numbers of Maqoor Villages
Launched in 2024, Maqoor Village engaged 100 youth and reached over 1800 community members through school workshops, community seminars, and environmental activities. The project included installing recycling bins across the village in partnership with the local government.
By combining youth leadership with community involvement, Maqoor Village sparked lasting eco-conscious behavior and inspired follow-up initiatives led by local youth.
